It has been an incredible journey as we have watched the children blossom and flourish in this nurturing environment. Once children have spent their primary school years at Royal Drakensberg, we believe that they will have a solid foundation to attend excellent secondary schools in KwaZulu-Natal.
We would love to see more children from this area benefit, but as an independent school, we do need funds to realise this dream. In 2012, we hope to be in a position to assist 30 learners. Families are awarded financial assistance to a maximum of 80% of the fees and the balance is then payable by the parents.

MAKE A ONCE-OFF DONATION
All donations received go straight to the cause where they are needed. We work under the umbrella of the Hearts of Hope Organisation: Hearts of Hope (HoH), a Section 21 Registered Non-Profit Organisation, which assists in providing financial support to social projects.
HoH provide a contact between Royal Drakensberg Primary Scholarship and donors in order to ensure that funds donated will be used for the purposes for which they are given. HoH is required by law to provide independent audited financial statements each year. In addition to this they are required to submit audited financials to the National Department of Social Development as well as the South African Revenue Service annually.

Ride in the Royal Drakensberg Mountain Bike Challenge
Take part in one (or more) of the Mountain Bike races or other fun events taking place in the NORTHERN DRAKENSBERG, midway between Johannesburg and Durban, between 01 and 03 June 2012.
Bring the family for a weekend of fun - a number of events have been organized to accommodate all ability levels, as well as heaps of fun for spectators. All proceeds will go directly to the school.
